23 Jun 57 new caves found in Phong Nha Ke Bang National Park
In the newly discovered 57 caves, most notably Hoa Huong Cave is formed underwater, contains valuable information for scientists.
In morning 22/62016, Quang Binh province organizers announced newly discovered caves in over a month. The survey team consists of 13 members British Caving Association, the local population, national park rangers of Phong Nha – Ke Bang and officials from Vietnam National University.
“We found 57 caves in 14 areas in the rugged location, between the deep tropical forests, largely in the national park of Phong Nha – Ke Bang. To reach the cave is very hard, have to stay in the forest round Group 8 days, to cut banana trees, cutting vines to collect drinking water, “said Howard Limbert said.
